Kaisers were not cool enough for CoolBeans

Unlucky Kaisers had to play their toughest game without their key players Serkan, Mert, and Suleyman. Addition of Ziya to the remaining six Kaisers warriors was not enough to beat CoolBeans and Kaisers had to face their second loss after an unlucky game: 2-4.

CoolBeans started the game in a much better form than Kaisers and they opened the scoresheet after their first shot on target. Conceeding a goal turned on Kaisers and their answer came not very late. A long ball by Alfredo found Hamza unmarked in CoolBeans box where Hamza was so calm to stop the ball and put it into the lower right corner:1-1.

Although the score was in balance, the game was not. Several Kaisers players such as Fatih and Ferdi were not having their best nights, and moreover, Kaisers players knew that they had to spent their energy very economically because they had only one sub. Hence, Kaisers decided to slow down the game and let CoolBeans move forward. They tried to create chances via fast counterattacks by Hamza, Ziya, and Ersin. The plan worked fairly well; Kaisers were defending tightly and not allowing chances to the pacey CoolBeans forwards. However, an unexpected shot from the big Latino midfielder of CoolBeans inside the Kaisers box hunted Orkun once more:2-1. Kaisers continued to follow their sit-back-and counterattack strategy, and the reward came close to the end of the first half. Hamza found Ersin wide open in the CoolBeans box in a fast counter attack, and Ersin had the sopportunity to shot from close distance three times. Although the keeper managed to deflect the first two, Ersin was determined to score, and he found the net in his third trial:2-2.

The second half started better for Kaisers, and they had very good opportunities to score. Following a long pass by Fatih, Hamza faced CoolBeans goalkeeper Mark one-on-one around the CoolBeans box, but his quick touch was deflected by Mark. Then, a Fatih-Hamza-Fatih play in the CoolBeans' half gave Fatih a good opportunity to break his fast of scoreless games, but a very poor shot by Fatih did not even find the target.

As the minutes passed, CoolBeans started to take advantage of having fresh legs at the bench. They were easily passing the midfield as the gap between the Kaisers' defence and offence had widened up. However, Ferdi and Alfredo did not let CoolBeans forwards to come closer to the box. The only thing they could do was to shoot outside the box, but that was not good enough to beat Orkun. In the middle of the second half, CoolBeans approached to the Kaisers box in numbers, and a fine volley by the same Latino player hit Kaisers post and found the net despite Orkun's efforts:2-3.

After 2-3, Kaisers had to play not only against CoolBeans but also the referee. The inconsistent and silly decisions by the ref turned Kaisers players crazy, even the very calm ones like Orkun and Fatih. Even though, Kaisers tried to put their best efforts on the pitch to score the equalizer and were attacking with three or four people at a time. In one such play, Ziya's ball was intercepted by CoolBeans, and a long range pass found their top goalscorer Ryan, who was one-on-one with Orkun. Ryan passed Orkun, put the ball into the back of the net despite Alfredo's late efforts: 2-4.

Things were much harder for Kaisers after a two-goal differential. They were already tired, and were not able to create much threat for the CoolBeans goalkeeper. Also, the refereeing decisions were getting worse. A couple of minutes before the final whistle, Ferdi was injured; and Kaisers had to play the last part of the game without their key defender. However, they managed to create a few chances. A long range low shot by Fatih was deflected by the keeper, and Ersin has wasted a one-on-one opportunity in the following minutes.

Although the score was disappointing and put Kaisers in the third place of the table; Kaisers were happy with the character they showed during the game. There is faith in the team that they can beat this CoollBeans when Suleyman, Serkan, and Mert are back.
